Character Breakdowns:
SAM (MALE; 18-22; any ethnicity): a simple-minded and unmotivated college dropout working a register in the worst fast food place in town. Dreams of more, though he is too nervous to follow through with his goals, so he has a lost look in his eyes. Realizes by the end that he hates his
job, and resolves to quit.
DOUGIE (MALE; 18-22; any ethnicity): tall and large, talkative, and always plotting a get-rich scheme. Optimistic about life, though never thinks things through all the way. Hates Smiley, but can’t get the courage to stand up to him, since the job is all he has.
SMILEY (MALE; 30-50; any ethnicity): stout, mean-spirited manager of Snack N’ Quack. Likes to belittle others, is generally quite sleazy, and makes it his mission in life to give the loudmouth Dougie.
PARKER (FEMALE; 18-late 20s; any ethnicity): glue-that-binds figure in the restaurant that works the drive-through. Something of a know it all, even though she isn’t the brightest, she tries her best to remain positive and stress-free for the sake of her baby’s health.
OLD WOMAN (FEMALE; 55+; any ethnicity): no-nonsense gambling gal who’s in a hurry to watch the lottery numbers announced.
HANDSOME MAN (MALE; 30-50; any ethnicity): dashing and fast-talking weatherman, who has the chance to read the lottery!
