Synopsis: When Mariela, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, is diagnosed with kidney failure, her family scrambles to save her life. Dialysis treatments are costly, and without health insurance, her daughter Jenni and husband Leo resolve to smuggle her back into Mexico where they can afford the treatments for her chronic condition.

JENNI HERRERA LÓPEZ (Looks 12, Latina): Jenni, the daughter of Leo and Mariela, must behave beyond her years to help her parents and save her mother’s life.
